Who is BV?
Baron has been a resident of Easton since 2006, and formerly served as the Vice President of the Easton Area School District Board of Education. During his tenure on the school board, he was a part of numerous district successes, including being a part of the initial planning for the newly constructed Paxinosa and Palmer Elementary Schools and collaborating with the township and the Charles Chrin Companies in the completion of the Route 33 Charles Chrin Interchange and Commerce Centre.
Baron is a career educator, currently serving as a senior level college admissions officer at Muhlenberg College, Baron obtained his master of education degree from Kutztown University, and a bachelor of arts degree in Public Administration East Stroudsburg University. He is also a proud alumnus of Easton Area High School.
Baron comes from a large family, being the middle child with six siblings. He is the son of an economic development project manager and an executive assistant, both of whom are retired from extensive careers in New York City government.
Baron takes community participation very seriously. He serves as an ordained deacon and youth leader at his local church, board member for the Northampton County Prison Advisory Board, and has previously served as the chairman of the Career Institute of Technology Board of Directors, and the board for the Foundation For Easton Schools.
